PowerPoint seems to be a way for organizations to turn expensive, expert decision-makers into novice decision-makers.

Annals of Business: Absolute Powerpoint : The New Yorker

I’ll admit that I’ve quoted one line in a very long, generally dispassionate report on PowerPoint and its influence. But, having worked in PowerPoint-heavy environments, I really do think it’s time we start to weigh the influence (mostly negative if you ask me) on our decision making processes.
